IPOD to EQ cable
I currently hook my IPOD directly to my EQ with an RCA to 3.5mm headphone jack cable. I have heard that this is not the ideal cable, as it jeopardizes some sound quality. I've found some RCA to IPOD dock connector cables, but was wondering what everyone else is using. Thanks in advance.

I'd like to know what connectors people are using to go from iPhone/iTouch dock connector to RCAs as well

I use the IS-75 cable -- goes to either RCA or headphone jack - charges the device (works for my iPhone too)

So on both of those cables the power and ground wire need to be connected to the battery, right? I'm not overly concerned about having the ability to charge my ipod, as I can charge it on shore if needed (truck or motorhome). Plus, I'd rather not have to run another cable to my batteries, which are in the passenger compartment.

I'm kinda thinking about something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Cables-4-Feet-...3598809&sr=8-1

Nick, you will have a power bus under the helm, no? That's where I put them.

Todd - I'm not too sure. My boat is a 2007 VTX.

Well, I ended up getting one of these: http://www.ramelectronics.net/ipod-m...dIFEPDRCA.html
The primary reason is that it is compatible with ALL ipods/iphones, and I have buddies with all sorts of ipods/iphones. |
