Sweet Congrats To the Vandall

scbrips 05-09-2010 6:28 PM

Let's see this sh*t!

"Straight edge!"

the_bum 05-09-2010 6:55 PM

What was the trick?

jarrod 05-09-2010 7:48 PM

I think the best trick was a toe back 5, but he also landed a toe back 7 in the same round.

I'm not sure on the biggest trick. Toe Front? Maybe somone could chime in to confirm.

Also....Trevor Hansen landed two double backrolls. Jimmy was stomping heel nines as usual, but also threw a 1080.

JD was going straight for 1080s.

Jason Callen made it to the finals with all of these guys!

seabass 05-09-2010 8:00 PM

Nice Callen!!

Great job!

spin2win 05-09-2010 8:58 PM

Its that new CWB board that helped Jason make it to the Finals!

extremeisaac 05-09-2010 9:52 PM

Not to take credit away from any of the riders.. But I was super stoked on Callen! He had to go against some pretty big names including Derek Cook and Phillip Soven. Plus had a super sick beer drinking RALEY!!! YOU GO BOY!

jps912 05-10-2010 5:58 AM

Such a good weekend. Congrats to all the riders. So much fun.

ktm525 05-10-2010 6:21 AM

Congrats to Callen. Keep killin it.

johnny_jr 05-10-2010 6:55 AM

Can we get the contest results posted?

jarrod 05-10-2010 7:37 AM

This is it!

We do two prizes. Best trick, biggest trick. Randall one both.

There will be write-up, photo gallary, and video coming in the next couple of weeks.

wakeandsnow27 05-10-2010 11:17 AM

Stoked for him.... cant wait for pics/vids/ details... Im sure they were huge.

steezyshots 05-10-2010 12:17 PM

Huge is an understatement 105 frames!

dirwoody 05-10-2010 12:21 PM

105 Frames!?!?!?!?
Wasn't Sharp's huge glide at double-up or nothing a couple years ago like 76 or something (can't remember?) - and that thing was HUGE!

steezyshots 05-10-2010 12:45 PM

I don't remember what Chad's was or the frame rate they shot at, but T Maur was shooting 60 frames a second and Randall hit 105,

Trever came in 2nd with something like 103 and I think Chris and D Cook followed it up just behind that.

hawkeye7708 05-10-2010 3:32 PM

I'm sensing a difference in frame rate....

dirwoody 05-10-2010 4:10 PM

Me too. Either way - HUGE

wakerider111 05-10-2010 4:23 PM

"different frame rate." could be explained by new/cheaper technology these days on cameras used?

jarrod 05-10-2010 7:47 PM

Hey Guys, if you're dying to see Spring Ride pictures right now, then friend Springbok designs on Facebook. He has over a hundred professional shots up. Girls, riding, tug-o-war, dodgeball, all kinds of stuff.

lfadam 05-10-2010 7:58 PM

105 fps is 52.5 fps in 30fps vid which is what chad sharpe and double or nothing dubs have been calculated with IIRC. Sharpe was mid 50s I think. 53 or 56?

moman 05-10-2010 8:23 PM

The biggest air was shot at 60 fps.

hawkeye7708 05-10-2010 8:40 PM

Still massive though... I can't wait to see this. This fills the void from the Double or Nothing comp.

hawkeye7708 05-10-2010 8:41 PM

At least as far as "Best Trick" and "Biggest Air" goes, for me anyway.

kyle_L 05-11-2010 4:11 AM

J-rod, that album was fantastic!!
