freshwater flush for a black scorpion
I want to put a conection on my 330 black scorpion so I can run it on a hose and also flush out the saltwater I run in. Where do I cut it in and what hardware would I need? Its in an 06 Sanger 215.

Me too. Built in ballast makes it tough to get down to the inlet water line. Changing the impeller was a beaaatch. Next is an oil change which doesn't look to easy considering I don't have a remote filter system.

Put the remote oil filter in when you change it this time. You'll be glad you did next time. That and a Pela suction pump and oil changes are a snap.

I think there is a Mercruiser kit that lets you connect a garden hose to the top of the engine for flushing out salt water. You should be able to get it from any Mercury dealer, or online.
