Water strainer install - sideways?
 

I want to install a raw water strainer on my boat but my ballast pumps make it difficult. Does anyone know if these can be mounted sideways or does the bowl have to face down to work?

you can mount sideways

I wasn't sure so I did'nt want to say anything, but mine is mounted sideways from the factory.

I have mine laying on its side between the V-drive and the raw water impeller.
