captain_542 03-31-2010 5:39 AM

soundbox 03-31-2010 11:28 AM

Good looking project. Can't wait to see it done.

alans 03-31-2010 11:41 AM

Wow, thats a lot of hardware. How many screws and bolts? 400+?

hatepain 03-31-2010 12:14 PM

Wow this should be a cool one to see all done. Man those towers sure do have a lot of pieces, gives you an idea as to why they had problems with them shaking.

mc_x15 03-31-2010 1:47 PM

Damn thats gonna be a nightmare to put back together

burtonrider_77 03-31-2010 9:36 PM

yea its alot of pieces, all i know is it took almost a whole box of ziploc bags to keep all the hardware organized. luckily this isnt my first tower teardown.... get the boat back tomorrow, and windows go back on. i just gotta get the tower to powder coating early next week... more pics as i get them

thanks for imput....

crfdude86 03-31-2010 10:04 PM

How much are you paying to get the windows tinted? thinking about taking my boat to that same place.

burtonrider_77 03-31-2010 10:08 PM

umm i pay my shop rate, im not sure that its different though. i can let him know your coming in send me a message or email me at vaughn@nakidclothing.com...

also it would be more if you dont take the windshield off...

finished it yesterday, gonna do the wrap this winter.....

kyle_m 05-02-2010 9:15 AM

Mastercraft needs to offer a powder coated tower!!! That looks amazing

burtonrider_77 05-02-2010 9:20 AM

they offer something, but its crazy exspensive!!!!!

wakeborder5 05-02-2010 9:20 AM

That is siiick. The black tower, especially the bit of silver in the board racks and in the supports, really sets it off. One final touch that would make it perfect would be be to powdercoat the windshield frame black

hatepain 05-02-2010 9:37 AM

Powder coated towers is where its at! Looks fantastic. Great job.

Any pics of the stereo install?

gti2lo 05-02-2010 9:58 AM

wow that is impressive! Must have taken hour and hours to take apart the tower!

themxercr85 05-02-2010 10:32 AM

Thats filthyyy, I've always wanted to get my towers powder coated like that. Thats some good work right there

burtonrider_77 05-02-2010 10:56 AM

thanks guys,

were gonna do the windshield this winter. this was the mad dash to get is going before summer. stereo was pretty plain just a 13w7 in a box. i took a lot of time over 150 pieces in the tower... wrap is getting designed by my tattoo artist as we speak....

just fyi powder was about $2000.00 including all the time to disassemble and reassemble!!!!

newmy79 05-02-2010 11:26 AM

That tower looks sick. Extremely well-done job Spence!

jdhart73 05-02-2010 11:29 AM

chucktronics 05-02-2010 12:38 PM

That looks SICK!

mdaijogo 05-02-2010 1:36 PM

Looks great. If I spy correctly, that is in P-town off of 580.

05-02-2010 1:54 PM

Gauges too or is that just the tint? Looks great.

burtonrider_77 05-02-2010 5:52 PM

thanks again guys,

Mario, thats work!!!!!!!

big d, just the tint. but when we do the windshield frame were gonna do all the rest of the stuff in the boat. guages, cleats, grab rails. its gonna be murdered out.
also a full wrap all the way over the topdeck under the upholstry.....

mc_x15 05-03-2010 8:37 AM

WOW that looks really great. Whats the ballpark cost of powder coating a tower. I know it must be lots or man hours just taking down and putting up, plus keeping track of everythign. Nicely done. Very classy

wake77 05-03-2010 8:50 AM

"just fyi powder was about $2000.00 including all the time to disassemble and reassemble!!!!"

migs 05-03-2010 9:04 AM

bruizza 05-03-2010 9:05 AM

Wow that is one of the best looking towers I have ever seen. Really sets the boat off and makes it look amazing.

bjeremi 05-03-2010 9:49 PM
