Is there a way to get these speakers attached to an illusion tower? Does anyone own these speakers and if so what are your thoughts on them?

Paul, Not sure if they will fit the illusion tower. However I had a set last year i was impressed... This year im going a bit overboard now that the boat is paid off and going with a pair of wetsounds pro-485s so if you figure out how to mount them let me know i have a pair just laying in the corner of the shop id be willing to part with pretty cheap

On the Liquid Force Bro Stock malibu from a couple years ago they had a set on theirs. It was mounted on the round bar where the rope attaches.

Without a substantial modification, I do not believe these speakers will attach cleanly to the illusion tower. The bottom half of the clamp is build into the cabinet. All that came with the two I bought were the sizing inserts for round tubular towers.
Not to say it can't be done. Just my thoughts. Hope it helps. Jason |
Paul-
The whole clamp assembly is removable from the cabinet; when you receive a new set, you have to install the bottom half of the clamp to the cabinet. We do not offer an adaptor for an Illusion tower, but one should be fairly easy to fabricate! And, you would be able to have that adaptor fasten directly to the cabinet, using tthe stock mounting hardpoints. Good luck! If you pursue it, post pics! We would love to see it! Phil Kicker |
Phil,
Why did you not stear him to the new KM6500.2 HLCD Tower Component System? There are tons of enclosures out there that are made for the illusions.... myself included. Throw some of these bad boys in there and boom... done.... |
You are right Sean!
I just gotta get them in the warehouse!!!!!! |
When will those speakers be available for sale.
|
Paul-
Late April / early May is my best guess for production to be rolling and inventory in the barn. That is what it is looking like right now... Phil Kicker |
