Great Oneill Womens Vest
So I have learned in the past - it is impossible to buy ACCURATELY a women's vest. So I need some insider help - I am looking at getting some new Oneill vest for the ladys and wanted to see what the women's opinion is. Which Oneill vest do you women prefer to wear? Certain colors to pick or-steer clear of?

I personally have tried numerous brands & models, some women specific and some not. I like how the O'Neill Women's law fits and flexes. There are times when I wear a comp vest, which is the Women's O'Neil Outlaw. I like simple black. IF there are accent colors, I try to stay away from pink & light blue.

I have the Oneill Gem Non coast guard approved. Size 10...too big..rides up. dark gray/pink

I also have the Oneill Flare, Coast guard approved one. Size 8, fits perfect. Black

Both I really like!

so far sounds like ; Oneill law +1, and the ONeill Flare +1.
In regards to the law (USCGA) - they only make that in mens, however they have the Oneill Outlaw (comp) for women. Is there a difference between the two?

I know they had a Women's LAW vest last year...not sure about '10. The difference for me is one gets me a ticket from Ranger Rodney (comp vest) vs. USCGA in "The Law" vest. Obviously, the USCGA vest floats me much better and is a little bit more bulky than the comp Outlaw vest.

Just pulled this straight from the O'Neill website, but the The Law looks like the '09 still.

wow- Thanks for calling myself out on this one.
For some reason my eyes were lying to me, because after going back the vest was right there on the page. sometimes the best laughter is when you laugh at yourself.

Thanks everyone.

I'm a big fan of the Law vest as well. I've been rocking it for a couple of years now and find it very comfy and not overly bulky. I've ridden a couple of different comp vests and I always feel like I'm gonna drown.
