Does anyone have any concern with the oil disbursement while on list? My buddy has been saying he thinks it would pool up in the corner and potentially cause issues. Any thoughts?

I would think that It is not listing that much and a race car going around an oval track would have the same oiling problems if there is a problem.

He actually used that analogy and said they run dry sump oil pumps.

I asked an engine builder friend after noticing my valve covers leaking -- he just laughed and said that running it at that angle will cause it to leak from somewhere eventually. I asked about oil starvation issues and he said about all you can do to address it is add an extra half-quart of oil. The GM fuel pumps are pretty beefy and as long as the pickup is submerged, you shouldn't have an issue.

Race cars running a dry sump has as much to do (or more) with the centrifugal force of running in an oval as it does with the angle of the engine. An engine will seize from oil starvation in seconds -- I don't think any of us are having those problems.

Mowt race cars running dry sumps are pulling more than 1.5 G so that's about a 50 list or more. Roberts suggestion is pretty good, but I don't add any.
In racing you can control momentary oil starvation problems with an Accusump. it's possible to even watch the gauge on the sump to see when oil comes out of it to compensate for lost pressure. They make marine versions for race boats. http://www.accusump.com/
If you have a design flaw that inhibits pickup it won't solve the problem but it will help if there is a momentary issue.

I had trany oil issues on my previous boat. I had to really top off the oil.
