I'm looking for cheap boat : CC ski Nautique, MS 190PS or Malibu Response (1990-1994 models).
which of them has the best wake ?

I have owned an '86 MC PS 190 and I own an '83 SN 2001. I prefer the wake on the SN. It also handles rough water better. Check the stringers really, really well on the SN, though. You don't want to have to go through what I went through.

I have no experience with the Response's wake. I rode in one once, but not behind it, so I can't comment on it. But the wakes on the '82-'89 SN 2001s are great. Much better, IMHO, than the MC PS 190.

Response is rampy but can get big. Prostar I'm not sure but I've heard they can get big with a fat seat and 600 in the bow. The CC is big and steep with lot's of weight. I prefer the 80's CC wake over some of todays wake boats.
