I am considering changing the factory Clarion stero out of my 02 super air> but am not sure what else will fit? Has anyone put a waterproof stereo cover in place of the Clarion unit? I would like to run a kenwood deck so that I can control the KEG> which is a hard drive> to play MP3's. Have you ever seen anyone that put in a double din setup where the factory location is(behind the drivers rigth elbow?)
Thanks for any help!

Has anyone done this before? Anyone seen a radio splash guard that are made for boats that are double din like the clarion deck?
Thanks!

Hey Harold, I have replaced my Clarion with an Eclipse deck. The face of the Clarion is Double din but the deck is just a single din. When you look from the back you will see. Any din deck will mount, you just need to make a face plate to cover the factory area. If you want to put a double din in it's place you should have room. Pull your deck (easy to do), and measure. Good luck, Eric

MY 02 air is currently in the audio shop. I am having them put in an alpine deck. They are using a cover over it they say they can make it look like a factory install. I get the boat back tomarrow and ill post some pictures.
