Just got final cut express 4.. super stoked cuz I did not like imovie 07 or 08.

only problem is that I cannot convert the music I purchased through iTunes to AIFF... so i cannot use them in my movies/videos. i have purchased a lot of songs off itunes that I want to use. I can use all the other songs in iTunes I ripped from a CD or downloaded from the net or got from my friends ipods...

anyone know a loophole or a way around this?

Burn it to an Audio CD and then re inport as an AIFF. Your music that you imported from your personal CD's should be able to be converted as well as the unprotected songs on iTunes.

It's not "weird."
It's "DRM! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_rights_management) and it's done by design.
