I am! WOO!

brodie_chaboya 04-08-2008 3:49 PM

I'm gonna try to make it out to powell. If I can get into the bro-am double up contest I'm going for sure.

hawk7 04-08-2008 4:04 PM

Where will bro stock be. Aren't there multiple stops, I'd like to go if there is one in CA.

wakeboardern1 04-08-2008 4:57 PM

There's one at Powell and one at Smith Mountain Lake in VA. That's all that they've got up on their website so far, or at least last time I checked.

wakerider111 04-08-2008 5:27 PM

I'm all over it
Powell = favorite spot on earth (home town is page)
Wakeboarding = favorite sport, hobby, past-time, well you get the idea

Powell + Wakeboarding + an event like Bro Stock = Paradise!!

(anyone looking to try a slingshot recoil 142 with 11 size D2 bindings, look for me... SPORTING MY WAKEWORLD #11 BYROM JERSEY!!!)

that reminds me... bring and sport your WW jerseys

wakerider111 04-08-2008 5:30 PM

I have a crazy idea in my head to make pancakes for anyone who wants them one of the mornings.... special, surprise pancakes just for bro stock..., but i will have to see what is in my schedule, budget, and abilities when the time comes.

(Message edited by wakerider111 on April 08, 2008)

wakeworld 04-08-2008 7:29 PM

I just booked my 59-foot houseboat today, so WakeWorld will be representin' at the Lake Powell version of Brostock!! If you didn't make it out last year, you missed out on a great time. Check out the article we did...

http://wakeworld.com/getarticle.asp?articleid=1230

wakeboardern1 04-08-2008 7:39 PM

Anyone else going to represent WakeWorld in VA? Or are yall going to let me be the only one?

mxflyer281 04-08-2008 8:26 PM

I might make the trip from FL to goto the east coast one. Though anyone know if there r any houseboat rentals left.

mtnsun 04-08-2008 8:31 PM

Doing a road trip from Colorado to Powell. Should be a great time!

wakerider111 04-08-2008 8:32 PM

check lakepowell.com and http://www.antelopepointlakepowell.com for houseboats and stuff

there are some other companies in Page arizona. try doing searches there. Also Big Water, small town on utah side just a few miles from page. hopefully something will be available at either town if the two web addresses leave no avail

wakerider_dlt 04-08-2008 8:54 PM

I am going this year to the VA one.

bigdave0924 04-09-2008 6:32 AM

We'll be at the one at Smith Mountian Lake, after last year I wouldnt miss it.

wakeworld 04-09-2008 6:49 AM

LF just told me that there are already 15 boats signed up for the Lake Powell Boardstock. That is going to be sooooo nuts!

wakeboardern1 04-09-2008 7:37 AM

Dustin, you'll only be going if I decide to let you on my boat....

......
.........

15 at Powell? Holy hell that's going to be completely insane! I wonder what it's going to be like at SML...

aaron_grace 04-09-2008 1:26 PM

I just wanted to let people know, that if you plan on flying to Powell, your best bet is flying into Page, AZ

teamvaldez 04-09-2008 1:41 PM

Wow, an aaron grace sighting?? sweet!

wakerider111 04-10-2008 5:54 AM

I am originally from Page, Arizona and will be moving back in the end of april. So if anyone needs some help or anything i will see what i can do.

lil_braswell 04-11-2008 10:52 AM

I live in Scottsdale, but don't have a boat so if anyone has room, or needs an extra let me know. This event looks awesome!

ridealready 04-11-2008 11:33 AM

Maybe if lakepowell wasnt raping people on rental houseboats we would go. Best lake in the world dont get me wrong, but price gouging there is getting out of hand.

wakeworld 04-11-2008 2:04 PM

So you're not going?

njskier 04-11-2008 6:21 PM

We'll be at SML again this year, towing the boat down from Dirty Jersey!

robandrus 04-11-2008 9:27 PM

I'm bummed cause our houseboat week is always one week before brostock. Right after Memorial day weekend. Its kind of nice though cause everyone else is back at work for that week and the lake is deserted, often there is good water right in the main channel.

kotw 04-11-2008 11:45 PM

From all the pics i've seen, Lake Powell has the lowest turnout. Am I wrong, or can we change this? I've gone for the last 2 years and lake powell is amazing, Where is everyone at?

wakebrdjay 04-12-2008 7:21 AM

The Cleveland crew will be at SML again, wouldn't miss it.Got lake side room reserved. Can't wait!!!

yorwakebordfrend 04-14-2008 3:37 PM

ooo ill be there with the i.r.a. cornelius and century marineeeeee az babyyy

wakerider111 04-14-2008 3:46 PM

I think powell is gona have a much greater turn out this year.
the first year, many people didn't know about it till after the effect (i didn't even know, and it was less than 10 miles from my home town... sad)
the second year was more advertised and at least people knew it was comming.
this year has got more events and other pros invited. i predict it will be twice the turn out, or at least near it.
think about it, "15 boats signed up!" this is gona be great! cant wait!
