Ok, so at some point after the first of the year I'm going to be going down to St. Croix U.S. Virgin Island for a few months for work. Does anyone know of any wakeboarding down there? It would make the trip much more pleasant if I could get a few sets out on the water!!

Yea, I'm not real excited to be away from home for that long but I guess if I have to I'd rather it be down there than any where else. I here things like kiteboarding is big there.

I own a 2br condo on the beach down there. I am heading there next week and will keep an eye out for some wakeboarding. The condo rents for $2,500 / mo. Let me know if you need a place.

Thanks for the info Bill, but I think I'm staying at one of two places.....one is a condo complex west of Christiansted outside of town and I cann't remember the name but I know its by an abandoned hotel or condo complex or something like that....but this place doesn't have a beach, its on the ocean but its just a small cliff and no beach, and the other place is the Divi. How long will you be down there? Any advise for me? things to do, nightlife?

But your condo looks NICE!!! I don't think my company would put me up in something that nice. If you don't mind me asking do you work down there?

(Message edited by DenWbaseball on November 15, 2007)

I don't work down there. I have family down there in real estate though. We had the opportunity to buy a fixer upper and jumped on it. The Divi is a casino and the beach down there is incredible. Christiansted is the main town for nightlife. You won't have to look hard for fun and young singles. The restaurant crew is typically college students from the US. You will love it! You may have to hang up the board for diving though.

Yea, thats what its looking like I've looked online hard and Kiteboarding is the closest they have and I looked online at a website down there and its $600 for 3 half day lessons....thats pretty steap if you ask me so I think I just be on a steady drinking diet! What are the Casinos like down there?

A friend of mine just came back from St. Croix and said that the Casino was really nice and had great odds. What type of company do you work for? I'd like to line up a corporate deal for our condo.
