adam this is stephen pierce. Randal Harris is really going with the rest of the guys I talked to Rob Lowery at surf expo last week and he told me.its guna be alot of fun im on the icywaves team its the crunkest team aroud we dominate haha.

Man im gona go out on a limb and say this might be one of the most epic contests in the Carolina's and that it might gain some street cred for NC and SC and the surrounding area riders....

speaking of so many boats - How are the boat ramps looking with the water being down ? I was told that some of the ramps are closed till water levels return --- Are there areas to beach your boat around Vinnies ?

uhhh....ramps can be iffy...luckly i keep mine on a lift on the water...there are a few areas to beach, but i think its pretty limited...im probably tiein up out on the water somewhere...and i think there will be a party barge goin around that will transfer people from their boats over to vinnies to get some food and stuff..it is a pretty confined place so it should be pretty interesting

there are a few ramps that are close, Stephen would know better about the rmaps, there is enough room on the outside of the course to anchor, and a small area to beach your boat.

theres a ramp near vinnies and theres one at holiday marina which isnt too far by lake.

yea there should be a pretty nice line of boats tied/anchored up outside of the course..good ol' redneck yacht club

huh. the water is supposed to be really shallow there but they did a test run and said it was fine. cant wait. what division is everyone riding in?

Ill be there. We are docked right around the corner from vinnies and thats where i always ride so ill be watching for sure. Its not too shallow over there. Still need to be careful though I had a spill there two weeks ago and hit a stick in the water and it didnt feel too good.
