Hey, lookin at getting a wakeskate as we all enjoy surfing, but lack an inboard boat. Looking to learn riding barefoot, and need something that wont catch an edge easilly like wakeboards can. Mostly will just be cruisin doin 180's, slides n stuff. Just lookin for somethin mellow, but fun. So much to choose from, any thoughts?

Tyler

Hey im thinkin about the Gator Boards Imapalla. It's a 41" composite deck, and was wondering if my friend who's 6 foot 185 lbs could cruise on it? Would I need to worry about it being able to support his weight?

posse22o 06-18-2007 4:58 PM

from what i know, i dont think that it would work so well for him. i think that he is too heavy. i dont know much about wakeskates but thats just what i say from what ive heard. i just got a Gator Boards Drew 2007 41" and im 5' 9" and 140 pounds.

Your friend will be fine with the Impalla. No problem at all. I'm shorter and weigh the same and have no problem with an even shorter board.

josh_r_skater 06-19-2007 5:46 AM

yeah my friend rides my Doyle and thats a 40.5 and he is 6.2 around 200 and he rides it fine he just gose faster than i go

dlwsrider 06-19-2007 1:30 PM

a larger board would be easier for him, but he can definantly ride that.

brett, glad to see you got the drew, gator is sick you wont be dissapointed
