Sac in teh rear compartment and one in the locker?? What is the best? One sac in the rear?

typhoon 06-14-2007 11:02 AM

Anyone??

I have a SangAIR that came with stock rear ballast under the rear seat and I also put a 350lb. tube sack in the ski locker. The wake is nice enough for me. Just noticed you are a fellow Salinas local.

ndavis03 06-14-2007 11:18 AM

I take that back, maybe not from Salinas, but work for Ocean Mist.

typhoon 06-14-2007 11:39 AM

that is true and i live in salinas also.

Most Sanger hulls really like weight up front.. maybe start with the %65 up front %45 in rear recipe..

typhoon 06-14-2007 11:53 AM

I know the v210 does but was not sure with the dlx.

mendo247 06-14-2007 11:58 AM

yeah it pretty much holds true with the whole sanger line.. depending how you like your wake shaped ofcourse..

FYI-i think my stock rear ballast is like 320-400 pounds under the rear seat. My locker sack is the fly high tube sack, which is rated at 370 pounds, but I only get about 275-300 pounds in it. In my boat I take out the cooler and try to place the tube sack as much forward as possible. The wake is plenty good for me and has a nice shape.

What up Caesar??

super_air 06-14-2007 1:49 PM

I thought that would catch your attention. Didn't you get rid of your boat?

typhoon 06-14-2007 1:50 PM

I am snooping around on getting another boat...

super_air 06-14-2007 1:53 PM

Are you looking at Shane's DLX?

typhoon 06-14-2007 2:00 PM

no, a different one. I was not aware of shane's dlx...

super_air 06-14-2007 2:09 PM

I think he wants about 11,500 for his

typhoon 06-14-2007 2:10 PM

whow many hours?

super_air 06-14-2007 2:12 PM

Not sure but I know he is wanting to get rid of it pretty bad. We used to sac it out real heavy and it kicked up a fat wake.
