Has anybody used this? How is it? I am just getting into wakeboarding and don't have a pylon on my boat. Are there any other options other than towers?

Jeremy,
The Skylon is one of the original extensions for your pylon if you have a tournement style inboard. Tried and proven for many years. There are other brands out there but they all basically allow you to get the tow point for the rope higher. Towers do the same with more structure and also allow for more accessories and keep the interior of the boat more open. Look online, Overtons, Barts etc and see what you like and go from there.

Good luck.

What kind of boat is it? I just got a Big Air Universal Pylon for my boat and it works perfectly. I'm partial to this because instead of metal rods holding it up it has 2 cables running to d-rings on the transom area, if that makes any sense.

This is what I had on my old 190. Worked great and it had wakeboard racks on it. Simple to install and remove.

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/boa/349109060.html
