Hey guys i need yall's input. The water temp is around 60 degrees and rising and the air temp is in the 60-80's on most days, is that rideable??

I normally don't start my season until may, but i am gettting to anxious. Should i just wear board shorts or should i buy a top, so i can keep my core a little warmer??

Don't be a wuss man, I'd love 60 degree water right now! We start out at about 50 air-50 water temp up here in Wisconsin (maybe with a shorty wetsuit). 60+ water temp and you'll be more than fine trunking it.

your weather is a lot warmer than it is up here, were expecting snow on sunday! Our random weather is starting to piss me off

60 degree water . . . we don't get that until June.

Go for it.

I rode all winter in those temps, you will be fine. If you have a top, you wont be so cold out of the water. It's nice to have but not necessary

Out here on the Sac River it was 75 air and 58 water and I rode. It was cold, don't get me wrong, but how can you say no? We only took a couple passes before we had to get out to warm up. I felt like an alligator basking in the sun so I could function again.

skinned it in 52 degree water yesterday in willamette. Sack up and do it...you'll be glad you did it.
