I'm looking to get one or the other. Is the price difference worth it? I like better the graphics of the non-Platy but I heard that the platy is better. Any input?

My friend got a 06 Platinum and it´s got broken after a heavy crash (S-Bend @ boat gone wrong...) but he liked it very much!

I agree that the graphics are better on the non plat, but I am enjoying the Plat quite nicely. <BR> <BR>It is noticably lighter if that helps.

I think the graphics on the plat are sick. <BR> <BR>I went from a foam core marius, to a platinum marius, and the difference was noticeable.

Weight difference does not mean much. The flex pattern is what separates these boards performance wise. The platinum has more energy at it's release, more kick to it.

Non-Plat Unless your just a sick azz rider and can really feel the difference I would'nt spend the money.

The Plat 07 has the same bottom as the 05 &amp; 06. I rode the 06 non-Plat and I currently ride the 05 Plat, and the only differences I noticed are that the Plat has more pop to it and the non-plat was a little slower in the water, I assume because the Plat does not flex as much. Either one will treat you right.

I'm not an exelent rider so i think the non-plat would be the way to go...Thank you all for the input!!
