If you could take bits and pieces from every boat company what would your boat have?

Just curious what everyone would do.
Mine would look like the xstar with metal flake
have the interior of the wakesetter
the wake of a SANTE
The tower off a SANTE
The wedge
and the storage of a 247
ballast of an epic.

What would yours have?

Wake = Wakesetter or Older X-Star
Tower = Illusion
Ballast = Epic
Transom Stereo = Epic
Fiberglass Construction Process = Epic
Interior = eh..whatever--roomieness of a 23'
Exterior (gel koat) = Chrome ;-)

Oh, and I want a fuel cell to run the stereo.

hyperlite7572 08-22-2006 8:47 AM

Wake = X-Star
Gelcoat = old MasterCraft Stars and Stripes
Engine = LQ9 with MB Transmision
Stereo = Polk MOMO
Ballast = X-Star set up
Construction = Moneque Construction, hand laid fiber glass
Trailer = low pro tires, on 20's

i almost have my perfect boat, i have an mobius xlv, it's roomy, good storage, huge ballast system and great wake. but if i could build my own

22' boat
playpen bow (supra/moomba style)
big ballast 2500-3000#
nice tower
SANTE wake

so i basically want my xlv but make it a foot shorter and the wake a tad steeper

Simple: MC X2 above the water and CC SAN below the water.

Epic is a don't care for me since I only want a 21' boat. I also dig the efficiency of the SAN.

Entrust, what does stickers and stereo have to do with wake(team edition)....

My perfect boat.....hummmm.......no question, the Octopus.... Then again, I couldn't get that on Powell.... So maybe a custom 80' Yacht & slip at Bullfrog AND Wahweap....

wakeslife 08-22-2006 9:56 AM

Wake: X Star/2/1
Gelcoat: Matts Maristar
Transom: new Pickled Tige w/ seat
Bling of a Bu, Built like a MC
Illusion Tower color matched to boat w/ swing around racks
2500 lbs at the flip of a switch

skibum69 08-22-2006 9:56 AM

X-2 layout, but 21-22'
Wake more like X-1 but with a little bit more kick.
My current stereo
Illusion tower-atleast the looks
2500-3000lb of ballast due to the bigger size

dr_inc 08-22-2006 11:19 AM

the perfect boat.... The 205 hull.... hands down nothing is better

that is all

grant_west 08-22-2006 11:42 AM

The perfict boat: IMO
Any boat filled with all your good friends
on a hot summer day with pumpin tunes and a good vibe with some cold drink's. Ill take a row boat with a bunch of cool people over the most blinged out boat you could ever biuld filled with a bunch of tool's. IMO its what you put in the boat then whats around it that matters.
But GD's boat sounds pretty cool!

brucemac 08-22-2006 12:03 PM

grant, i've got a line on a livingston if you want to make a trade.

poserondubs 08-22-2006 5:19 PM

amen to that bling

michael_h 08-22-2006 5:29 PM

a sanger with 2000 pound stock ballast, with a duel proped duramax diesel & two speed allison tranny. perfect boat.

unclesam 08-22-2006 5:41 PM

Although I havent seen it in person, Supra 22ssv, one piece windshield, turbo diesel, built in heaters with two outlet tubes in the back

greatdane 08-22-2006 6:43 PM

Actually, I would also fancy a 20' closed bow v-drive with a rear bench that can be set up for forward and backward seating with ease. It would seat four to six in total comfort. It would be optimized for the usage sweet spot.
