Will a .75" absolute fin fit on an '05 pure? I'm still a little hesitant to go finless but i wouldn't mind getting away from the 1.9" skater fins that came with the board...

I was recently telling the CWB guys how it sucks that the Pure and Flame get those rediculous fins.

I rode that board with fins for a couple of year, but now I love riding that board without fins. I'm not sure if the new Absolute fins will fit, but I know the earlier Absolute (03-04) fins will fit because it's the same board.

yo, they all fit. I took the fins from my '05 Absolute and put them on a '02 Sol. I don't think CWB has changed the fin pattern in years. Jeff, try it without fins. It doesn't feel that different from the .75's to the molded fins. You'll adapt quick. Give it 2-3 rides and see what you think, then if you still think you need fins get some Absolute fins.

Thanks, guys. I'll give it a shot finless. I just needed a little more motivation is all. At least now i know i have other options if it doesn't work out...

Jeff, I pulled the fins off of my '04 lute because they were way to big. I love it finless. My technique still needs a lot of improvement, but with the fins, I found myself getting lazy on the proper edging. You will definitely learn proper edging finless. Thought about putting on the .75, but I'm too cheap.. If you pull of the fins, you'll love it.
