Hi guys my husband is constantly scratching his lenses. What ones are scratch resistant?
Thanks

xray_eye 05-16-2006 12:18 PM

innov8 05-16-2006 12:20 PM

Utopia Optics make the master cylinder that you can change lenses out, if you sratch them order some new lenses for 20 bucks or so and pop them right in.
www.utopiaoptics.com

innov8 05-16-2006 12:22 PM

If the Xrays scratch do you warrenty that and replace the lenses?

guido 05-16-2006 1:15 PM

Honestly, X-Rays are no joke. I've never run across another pair of glasses that are made better. Look at the cases, hinges and lenses and you'll see the difference. Considering they are the same prices as the big name guys the quality difference is amazing. You pick them up (in their nice leather case) and you think you are holding $200-300 glasses. They don't have a big name yet, but they will....

Hay Matt, send me some info on X-rays lineup.
Innov8 Action Sports L.L.C.
3415 E Hwy 377
Granbury Tx 76049

They might not be the most dope or trick or fly or pimp glasses, but H2Optix (available at Costco) has a number of models that seem pretty nice. They are a Bolle product, with a rain-x type coating that works great for keeping the lenses clear while you're on the water. They have a few different styles and are worth checking out.

xray_eye 05-16-2006 3:47 PM

Jeff, you got it.

nickdakoolkat 05-16-2006 6:30 PM

Nah you need to get a pair of these stunna shades
(the ones with windsheild wipers and headlights)

http://www.madeinthebay.com/godumb.html

xray_eye 05-17-2006 11:19 AM

Tanya, or any one else. We like WW so much that if you order some glasses and after your name put WW and your WW name we will knock $20 off the price when we run your card.

iamnathanhudson 05-17-2006 11:42 AM

I have a pair of white Von Zipper Papa G sunglasses. They are my third pair and I am completely stuck on Von Zipper! The First pair I had were the Rhombus....which are killer! They got snagged off my head by the rope when a newbie wakesurfer was learning the rope came and brushed against the side of my head as it tightened......The second pair was the Papa G sunglasses but tortoise shell.....loved them but they a huge gash in the lens right in front of my eye....so i gave them away. This time i just wanted something more out there but i loved the Papa G frame...so i went with white! VON ZIPPER ROCKS!!!!!

buffalow 05-17-2006 1:28 PM

I have been rocking the Xray's since Spring Ride and love the fit and durablity. Check out Matt's site. Seems liek a legit company that stands behind their products.

jeff359 05-17-2006 1:47 PM

Damn Matt, why didn't you tell me this two nights ago before I ordered. I might have ordered two pairs. Any retroactive discounts!?

xray_eye 05-17-2006 3:57 PM

Jeff, like Buffalo said, we stand behind it. I will send shirts or discount the next pair, your call.

rvh3 05-17-2006 4:28 PM

Matt,
What's the difference between the Laid Bax and the Chronix? Also, any chance of getting them polarized in gray? Thanks.

xray_eye 05-17-2006 5:24 PM

Rod, the bottoms on the chronix are little more rounded, hard to tell in the photo's unless you look at the side shots. The temple arm you can see in the side shot is different also. Gray lense polarized yes, gray frame sorry but no. Let me know if you have any other questions.
