kelli22 05-07-2006 7:25 PM

haha Well Im not to sure how I broke my foot. It happened friday night and my guess is when I fell down the stairs. Lets just say it involved just about a whole bottle of tequila, a lil everclear and some beer. It happened between 2pm and midnight.

Kels

C'mon I know you guys have some more pics!!! I have a awesome one but im not going to unleash it til i see some more.

ryin 05-08-2006 6:44 AM

i was skiing, 2 days after christmas. i went off a jump and popped off to much. i did a grab and got off balance. i came down overshooting the landing, crashing onto my right heel then twisting and landing on the right thigh. resutling in a broken femur in 3 places. had emergency surgery, and stayed in the hospital for a week. this winter was not fun.

litlone873 05-08-2006 11:09 AM

I would post if I had something to show. So far so good for me. But I want to see other peopele's stuff.

stormrider 05-08-2006 11:50 AM

Two titanium discs in my neck. Too many "whiplash" like injuries, a number from wakeboarding.

dlrobins2 05-08-2006 12:16 PM

Not my worst injury and definitely not as serious as the other posts, but the only one I have pics of. I also cracked all of my front teeth when I bit through my tongue. Iíve been riding with a mouth guard ever since.

kelli22 05-08-2006 12:29 PM

kelli22 05-08-2006 1:11 PM

garman 05-08-2006 3:33 PM

I learned something from this... an ankle doesn't just pop out of joint... something gives... When I put it back in place, it didn't feel any better like I had hoped. :-(

buzz_grande 05-08-2006 6:06 PM

Abdoninal tear. As far as I am concerned, it probably hurt worse than many of these other injuries. Just me though. Definately something I don't care to repeat!

buzz_grande 05-08-2006 6:07 PM

OK. I'm stupid. Here is the pic!

litlone873 05-08-2006 6:39 PM

bocephus 05-08-2006 9:11 PM

you guys need to drink more milk!

timmy 05-09-2006 4:08 AM

Renee,

The broken leg pics with the byerlys are similar to my injury, except for the fact that I wear Zeus bindings!

buzz_grande 05-09-2006 5:54 AM

Kels,

W2W, caught the front edge, faceplanted. Bindings were on too tight and I did not come out of them. Got yanked really hard - and not in a good way!

lovin_the_sport 05-09-2006 9:01 AM

buzz_grande 05-17-2006 8:49 PM

Bump!

Come on - you love this stuff just like I do. Let's see some more of it.

I will make you a deal....Keep posting, and I will promise NOT to show pics of my tailbone fracture. To give you a clue - it looks a lot like my torn abdominal pic, but on the backside Don't make me go there

buzz_grande 05-18-2006 5:46 PM

Damn Chris! That hurts my eyes! You sure look better than that the last time I saw you. Gotta give you props though - you may not be walking yet, but you are on the boats and water! I will let you know my schedule for this weekend. Still deciding which day.

attila916 05-18-2006 6:12 PM

Uggghhh, makes me want to quit the sport... start plaing chess or something

attila916 05-18-2006 6:14 PM

I guess it is still safer then riding motorcycles steet or dirt. I have seen some narly wrecks and induries. Anyone ever see someone loop a GSXR on the freeway doing about 110 in a T-shirt? Well, I didn't have my camera that day.

kylielogan 05-18-2006 7:27 PM

I have one pic of my broken foot and can't get it to upload, but I'm scared to see the tailbone pic, so . . . I'll follow Hannah's lead and contribute my injury hx to this thread instead! 3 broken toes; 1 broken foot; knee surgeries x3; popped hammy; lower abd. surgeries x2; splenectomy; broken ribs x2; broken elbow; blow-out fx L eye; bilateral TMJ surgery; split open forehead; 2 "step-offs" in my back from - unintentionally - bending in half backwards wakeboarding last summer (I know that's a bad sign, but I could still move my legs so I assumed I was a-ok!) It should now be obvious that I SUCK at every sport I try, but I still love them!!
pierce_bronkite 05-18-2006 7:40 PM

Geez! What was the story on the guy with the Byerly bindings?

wakeboardad 05-19-2006 5:34 AM

Not a WB injury but thought I deserved a mention.

saucysass88 05-19-2006 8:54 AM

Now that's funny!

mjmurphy53711 05-19-2006 10:20 AM

Wow, now I feel lucky to only have a broken rib and some stitches to show for my wakeboarding injuries!

www.midwestwakeboarder.com

Tim Krutz, Why did the doctor cut a circle around your leg?

wakeripper 05-20-2006 9:34 AM

Moto related but nast scar none the less....developed into a staff infection and was a nasty mess for 2 months now just a scar to remember it

timmy 05-20-2006 5:02 PM

Justin, the doctor didn't cut that, that is where the skin ripped open during the crash. about 180 degrees around the circmference of my leg.
