I am thinking about going to smaller fins on my parks board. I'm looking at the .7 Awing or the .8 Pwing. anybody know which one would be better or if there is much of a differance between the two?
P-Wing

A= is for Atlantic riders how have rough water
P= is for us Pacific riders who have smoother water.

Go with the P, as I did with my Parks 05

P wing for sure. It has less "catch" and will be more forgiving. Makes the board carve like a premier, but the pop of the parks.

I've still got the big ass A-wings that came w/ my TFD. anyone know where to get a good price on some P's?

tprkolbas 01-27-2006 9:34 AM

this is the cheapest place online that i've found a's & p's (&17 + s&h):

http://www.bandbsports.com/boards.html#fins

i checked that link and they only have 1.2 and 1.4 pwings. sent them an email about .8s. i'll post what they reply...

call them instead. they have a pair of 1.0s in stock and no .8s. Said they would order them and call me when they came in. tks kolbas

ride it finless.

john4d 01-27-2006 8:35 PM

does the parks board make a very good finless board? just looking at it, it looks like it would be to loose. Most boards have a set of small built in fins and there is nothing on the parks.

dr_inc 01-27-2006 10:31 PM

a wing is east coast style and p wing is west coast

East-big hold edge lonegr for more speen off the wake

west-made for more of spinning, releases off the wake faster

i rode the parks finless for a year and a half. then the roam came out. but i like my boards to ride like a snowboard.
