what's the best site for storing pics and maybe something with a forum? i'm looking for free or cheap where they won't use your stuff or sell off your info.

thanks,
-Kim

I have been using photobucket as well, haven't had any spam from them so not too bad.

no i need a place to store pics for a bmx stunt team i work with and maybe something that connected to a forum so i can include people in on what's going on around them. just thought the people here would know about this since we all love to get shots doing our tricks on the wake .

oh...sorry Chris...it's early and i just got back from a morning session without caffeine ;)...what i meant was that i thought that photo bucket had a forum too...how do i access it?

thanks,
-Kim

I've never used their forum. there is a way to send a link to people where they have read only access to certain parts of your files. I just send that to everybody...

Kim,

You could use www.snapfish.com

Super easy site and it's completely free! Plus you could share your albums with anyone and then they are able to purchase pictures. They store all your pics for free!

I use smugmug. It works well. I have the pro version now so peopes can buy my photos.

www.shelbydaniel.smugmug.com

holla

Yes, smugmug is great and it has some editing features and also allows you to store high res files that others can then choose what size they want to view them in based on their connection... Much more functional to share high quality photos than any of the "free" sites
