04 X-10 w/fatory clarion system. all the speakers in the interior of the boat make a loud rattle when the bass is kinda hard. any suggestions? speakers blown, crossovers-bassbusters? only does it w/bass, mids and trebles don't bother it and it didn't do it until the end of the year last year. thanks

Put a 200uF capacitor inline at each speaker, aka bassblocker. It will eliminate your issues if you have not already blown the speakers.

I don't know if this would affect it or not (or if your system is wired differently), but I pulled the stock amp power wires out of my '02 X10. Each wire was upwards of 20' of 8g (guessing) wire. I replaced it with much less length 4g. <BR>'02 battery was located in the rear compartment tho. I think MC moved them forward.

I have a 2004 X-10, when I first got it i looked at how the amps were wired, and the gains were turned way down, x-overs were all messed up. Also on mymastercraft.com I think there is something about the head unit being configured incorrectly that's easy to fix
