I did a search on this but didnt get all the info and input I wanted.

Like I said in my previous post; I am very limited to demoing the 05 boards. In fact my shops dont even have all of them in yet. But was wanting some input on the hyperlite state: Good pop? Soft landings? I am an intermediate rider..
Thanks

It's a pretty decent board. What do you want to know. Rides a lot like an old premier/era. Didn't have a ton of pop, but easy to make consistant. Doesn't need the center fins. Feels a little tighter than a premier/era without the fins becasue of the "mini" fins outside the molded fins. Didn't notice any real difference on my toe edge, but I don't really have any problem edging toeside anyway.

I just remember thinking the "new" premier was a lot smoother when I got back on it. After riding both I wasn't ready to trade in the premier for it, but it is definitely a good board. I like the pop of the premier better.

Anything else. Spins, pops, lands.... fine. You wouldn't be dissappointed. It's a great intermediate board. I'd also consider the LF Omega if you are looking for a board to progress on.

Personally..... I'd keep the Belmont, unless you really want a change. To go to the state would be an easy step from the Belmont. It's a pretty subtle three stage board.
