I started wake boarding late last year and the bug has definitely bitten.

The weather is starting to improve up here and I really want to get myself a board and hit it real hard this season.

Here are the boards I am looking @

OBrien Player
OBrien Vision
OBrien Demented
OBrien Valhalla

I am looking for a relatively fast board with good pop and soft landings? I am looking @ OBrien because I can get a good deal but I am open to suggestions.

If anyone has any experience with these or has any other suggestions please let me know!!

Thanks,
WakeBee
Look at some of the intermediate packages from CWB. The Pure package is a toned down high end shape (softer) with some cush boots for a great price. The shop where I worked sold truckloads of these.
I'm not super familiar with Obrien boards but from what I've heard the Vision is a pretty rider friendly deck.
I would go package to get the basics down.

I've heard very good things from the Valhalla boards. Very loose feel when riding neutral, but once you set an edge, the extra side fins bite like crazy. Other than that, I don't know a whole lot about Obrien boards. But then again, the best thing you can do, and safest for that matter, is to demo if at all possible. It's the only true way to know if you will like a board or not.

the player's a nice board, its just a bit hard on landings in the falts and i've heard that the vision is faster but the player has more pop

Doesn't anyone ride OBrien wakeboards? I have seen posts like this about LF and HL with tons of responses, why isn't OBrien getting any love?

Looking for feedback from people that actually ride one of the boards I mentioned.

Thanks,

WAKEBEE
