This video was taken this past summer at our lake place in northern Idaho. This was the second time I had a chance to take some lessons from Brian. Brian and his buddy Greg showed up at the cabin at about 7am and didnt leave untill 9pm. There were about 7 of us who took lessons from Brian that day.

This video includes footage of Brian and myself. I have seen Brian ride better before when he had actually had some rest in the previous week but the riding of him in this video still impresses me. Any feedback on the video would be great and if you guys have any tips for me regarding any of my riding that would be great. Dont rip me too hard on the making of the video, it was my first time.

For the past 2 summers I have been attempting a tantrum with 0 success and this past summer I finally got the hs bs360 along with a hs backroll and hs roll2revert. No matter what the trick is I think that I could be getting some more pop off of the wake. Any tips on the tricks and suggestions on getting some additional pop off of the wake from my hs would be GREATLY APPRECIATED (especially the tantrum).

The length of this vid is like 12 min so I provided 3 different sizes of video depending on your connection. If you can afford it I think that the high resolution video is really that much better than the rest. All the files are streaming video so you should not have to download the entire file before playing it.

THIS IS THE LOW RESOLUTION (5mb)
http://www.wakepics.com/media/Brian_Francis_and_Crew_web_file_.wmv

THIS IS THE MEDIUM RESOLUTION (8mb)
http://www.wakepics.com/media/Brian_Francis_and_Crew_web_file_medium_res_.wmv

THIS IS THE HIGH RESOLUTION (20mb)
http://www.wakepics.com/media/Brian_Francis_and_Crew_web_file_custom_res_---wp1.wmv

(Message edited by mhsb1029 on January 16, 2005)

Trouble opening the links above? Try these:

Low Res:http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=13377

Medium: http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=13378

High Res: http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=13382

Video: Less fancy transitions, zoom in more on some of the shots, cut out the fluff and you have a good 2 minute video of Brian.....

Riding: As far as tips... what did Brian tell you to do? Looks like you were getting really close with the tantrum towards the end.

Thanks for the input Kung, before any of you others take a look at the video I will try and shorten it up in the next hr or so, that way you dont have to look at the "fluff".

SaaWEEEEET! Brian is a very smooth rider. Great Vid!

On your tantrums you have to arch your back way more off the wake. You do them like my friend used to and he could never land them. We called them stick man tantrums. As for video advice zoom in closer on the wake tricks. Other wise great video and great riding.

Thanks for the feedback guys I really appreciate it. Here is a copy of the video without all of the "fluff". I was able to improve the resolution on this video also because I cut the length of the video in half.

*******************************************
NEW LINK TO VIDEO (SHORTER VERSION)
http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=13384
*******************************************

You got to ride with Special Greg? Lol! Greg is Jeff Weatherall's brother. He can ride too. Not quite like Brian or Jeff but he rides.

as far as gettting higher edge all the way through the wake, you are cutting your edge short as you go off the wake

Killer Video. Nice riding.

Enjoyed the vid, particularly Brian's first trick - the tail grab shifty - just awesome.
