Any other states so far that have banned it? <BR> <BR>The Commission adopted the regulation prohibiting the use of Waterski tow ropes of less than 20 feet at its April meeting. Start with a 21' rope on the tower and pull in. There is always a way around it.

So, in essence, they have also banned teaching people how to ski or barefoot with a boom off the side of the boat. Seems like they are really throwing out the baby with the bath water.

As far as I know... <BR> <BR>Nobody has died from wakesurfing. <BR>And, very few people have been hurt wakesurfing. <BR>Yet, tons of people get hurt wakeboarding, waterskiing, kneeboarding, and tubing. <BR> <BR>So, it makes perfect sense to ban wakesurfing. <BR> <BR>(Message edited by greatdane on August 09, 2004)
