Binding opinion needed please

I'm thinking about getting some new bindings. I ride an '06 Liquid Force Synergy 141 and the bindings on it are shot. I'm an intermediate rider currently (no inverts yet).
I've found two that I'm leaning towards right now. Either the '08 CWB Answer or the '09 LF Watson open toe. I'm also cinsidering a pair of '08 CWB Factions. I'm kind of spooked about the Answers because they're closed toe and I keep hearing stories of broken toes.
I wear 11 1/2 to 12 shoe size and I want to keep the cost below $250. So what do you guys thinks? Or are there any other suggestions you might have?
Thanks!

Slingshot are great... the inner liner heatmolds to your foot and makes breaking a toe much harder.... the boots are so nice, its like putting on a shoe.
They're also touch as nails... look in to D2/D3 or PB Floyd (I have some I'm trying to sell right now)

Also LF bindings are top notch... especially the watson

Thanks for the tips.
Hope I did the right thing. I just ordered a set of '08 CWB Factions. I couldn't beat the price at $145. Guess I can return them if I don't like 'em.

I have faction open toe bindings. They are very comfortable and easy to get in and out of with the hing tech. They may be a little heavier then other bindings.

It looks like it's a little too late but 09 or newer ronix ones are awsome. Super light and heat moldable make them really comfy
