awesome

Should be in front of the v-drive underneath the center rear seat access. If its a v-drive at least... either way, its the plug for the center drain hole on your boat.
What kind of boat do you have?
Correct craft sport nautique (1997)

It keeps your girlfriend from cheating.
ok...i have no clue...it should be somewhere in the middle of the boat....chearound the engine..(thats a Direct Drive right??
Good one Billy,

This ranks up there with one of the all time greatest posts I've seen on wakeworld.

Good luck with the search for the hole in your boat.
adam i was thinking the same thing.

as you were....

(Message edited by denverd1 on November 01, 2006)

Look under the motor cover, should be in front of the crankshaft pully. That's where mine is on a 1989 Ski Nautique.
Actually its a ballast plug. When you pull it out you get as much ballast that the boat will hold.
Just make sure when your gigantic ballast tank is full, you put the plug back in the hole you cant find.......HAHA we wouldnt want all that extra wake enhancement to drain once you got on plane!!!
WOW!!!!! It never ceases to amaze me.
It looks like the drain plug t-handle for the bilge. To access it and see if this is where it fits, just lift the motor box cover and look down right behind the Ski Pylon, there should be one in that location anyway.
Maybe it was left in his boat by a dealer or someone else and it really doesn't belong to the boat? Some boats don't have drains int he center but have them in the transom instead.
Why would anyone or a dealer for that matter bring a drain plug on a boat that doesn't need it and leave it on there?
Maybe it was in the service area and someone left it on the transom, then someone else saw it on the transom and put it in the glove box, etc. etc. etc....
Why would anyone or a dealer for that matter leave a drainplug on a transom to a boat it doesn't belong to?
Adam...for the same reason every once in awhile i find my remote control in the Refridgerator....its called spacing out....youve never done it???
lord chris, how many cocktails does that one take??
its usually about my 13th trip to the fridge.... J/K its only happened once, but hey, someone only had to set the plug in the wrong spot once.....
Chris, I like your explanation. While highly unlikely, it's possible.
I bet you wish you had screwed that drain plug into your mouth and never gotten onto wake world!
It's used to either drain any water out of the area under/around your motor or you can pull it and pass your oil drain hose through it to drain your oil.
Caution.....If found in boat rip out of dash and return to local dealer immediately... and ask for instructions!
Just put your boat in the water, you'll find out pretty quick where it goes
In the middle of the boat is where it should be if it is a v-drive a a direct drive i think it might be where the engine is.
Erwin, If you can't find it looking under the motor cover, look under the boat for a hole. Should give you an idea where it is.

While this one does amaze. A buddy was telling me how great on/off is, and proceeds to tell me about his 1st time using it last week on a private boat ramp, Before I could tell him how stupid that was, he tells me he backs the boat back into the water to rinse the shi% off. Very nice guy but what a dumb a$$ thing to do, read the frieking bottle, nasty stuff
