2007 X-Star Questions

Boat: Mastercraft X-Star
Year: 2007
Engine: MCX 350Hp
Hours: 372.00
Location: Knoxville, TN

1. Our starboard ballast gauge isn’t reading. We ordered a new gauge and had it installed…which didn’t fix the problem. I’m thinking it could just be something as simple as the calibration screws that are located on the top of the stock tank (which I didn’t know existed until the new gauge had been ordered) Does anyone know the best way to reach/adjust those screws?
2. We plan on self-winterizing this October/November. What tips do you have on winterizing the MCX 350?
3. We had some problems a few weeks ago with the PerfectPass display going in and out. Sometimes it wouldn't show anything and sometimes it would be really glitchy. Oddly, we haven't had any trouble out of it the past couple weeks. It should be noted that when we were having problems with the display on PerfectPass, the speedometer wasn't reading either. Could it be the ECM? I know it isn't the paddle wheel....

Anyone?

Generally, a non working ballast gauge can be caused by either a bad gauge or a bad sender. Try the screws first, but your sender may be bad.
