Here’s mine still at the dealership. She’s an 04 dealer demo but with full warranty – new to me! Getting a few options installed. I’ll put her in the water in mid April. Man I can’t wait to get on the water!

uga33 03-23-2005 5:37 AM

Kevin when are you going to step up to the Avalanche?

krbaugh 03-23-2005 7:06 AM

Oh no time soon
we live right on the water and never have many people in the boat. Plus I barefoot most of the the time so the smaller Cyclone gives me better hole shot and top end than the Avalanche....So right now the Cyclone is my best fit

uga33 03-23-2005 10:45 AM

What motor did you get in the Cyclone? Have you seen any with the PCM?

krbaugh 03-23-2005 10:50 AM

my o4 had the mag this year I went for the scorpion.....can't wait.
They have built very few boats with the pcm engine. I have not seen any

Here's my T-5 in black w/metal flake. It's pretty cold up here in Canada still but we've had her in the water 3 times. This weekend is the annual "Slope to Rope Triathlon" Snowboarding, golf, wakeboarding. Good times.

nice rigs! QUESTION: i've had prblems with my bimini, such as bent polls which have created a lop-sided look, what should i do? How much is a new bimini for my 03' Elite V-drive and where can i get a new one, should i call fineline or use another name brand that's cheaper?? any ideas would help

r3612 03-24-2005 10:30 PM

Check out my bimini its sweet real easy to use flip up and locks into place with no straps. I'll try to get some better pics of how it works. It's way better than that complicated factory bimini. Also no drilling clamps right on to the tower
04 Cyclone

(Message edited by r3612 on March 24, 2005)

Kevin,
Got it from Brian Huels at Rockford Marina and Watersports the local Centurion Dealer up in Rockford. I can tell you that this thing is awesome. Especially the way it operates. It's a little tight when you first get it but it breaks in very nicely. They are designed specifically for each model of a Centurion different hardware for each. These things are way more solid that the OEM biminis (with like 10 different poles you have to adjust.) Also this doesn't rattle at all. All you do is put in 2 pins to put it up or take out 2 pins to fold her up. VEry very good design

They are also very nice if you plan on hooking up speakers and lights cause it just opens by flipping underneath so the speakers never are a factor.
Now for the con
There is really only one Con to me but the pros outweighed anything else, but I just want to point it out to all interested. Wasn't a huge factor at all for me, but you never know. If you notice my pic it looks as if the bimini (when folded up) just ends. The corners kind of hang down a little far from the tower. I can say we have never had anyone hit their head or anything but it just freaks me out a little. Prob cause I have a little girl now who will eventually be jumping around the boat. This bimini is very very solid and very user friendly for sure though I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll try to give you an in person view.

Also congrats on the new Cyclone sweet color combo. The wait is killin me though. Hopefully its a heat wave here in a few

(Message edited by r3612 on March 25, 2005)

(Message edited by r3612 on March 25, 2005)

I would love to tell my dealer and Centurion where to get these. Not Crazy about the new Bimini Centurion is using for 05 it has no straps but it mounts to the windshield adn does not have a good way to store it. If you are in my neck of the woods with the boat let me know I would love to see it!

hoser325 04-04-2005 1:50 AM

Ty, it's great to see more riders from Bend. Did you get your AW from All Seasons? Looks great! See ya out there!

tyboarder03 04-04-2005 12:38 PM

Rhett yeah we got from All Seasons, we also added a bimini and are looking into ordering some tower cans from liquid audio

My new 2004 Centurion Avalanche. Purchased from Get Wet Marine Greensboro, NC. This boat came from a dealer in Texas that went bankrupt. What a great ride!
