Oil.Gas Mixture Ratio for a 1995 Waverunner
Anyone know the oil/gas mixture ratio for a 1995 Yahama 650 Waverunner? I am guessing 50 to 1.

well i don't know if it is just straight premixed, if the engine was just rebuilt, or if there is a pump on the engine also.... 50 to 1 would be as light as you would want to go and 32 to 1 will be as heavy as you will want to go.... I would do 40 to 1 but if its a new engine i would do 32 to 1 for awhile

50:1 are for most chainsaws/weedeaters. I would go 32:1 to 40:1 like Pete said. I run 32:1 in my dirtbike.

I usually run 40:1 in anythiing 2 cycle. And I make sure to go full throttle periodically for some duration to keep everything working well. Otherwise, you can get gunk buildup and plugs will foul, etc. My 2 cents.

Thanks! My buddy runs 12 ozs. to 6 gallons and that seemed a little thin to me.

Just straight gas should burn that thing to the ground just fine :)

Yeah I was thinking 32:1. One part gas, 32 parts of concrete.

yes 50 to 1 is good
i run 42 to 1 in all my ski's also if you do that, you need to go 1 size up in jets, because your pre-mixing |
at 32 to 1 you will start to see significant smoke at lower speeds (which is kinda annoying and prolly not good for you)... 40 to 1 will be about as close to perfect as you can get.... also at 32 to 1 some jetskis start to foul plugs.... 50 to 1 is way too light in my eyes so I use 40 to 1as a starting point and if I don't mind the exhaust smoke level there I might try adding a tiny bit more till the smoke gets annoying and intolerable... hope this helps
