Ballast Problem

hey guys, I have an 01 mastercraft x star with the stock kgb ballast system with the hard tanks in the back...for some reason my port side ballast tank doesn't fill up. It seems like the motor doesn't get primed so there is air leaking in somewhere...Im not sure how to find the leak..I was going to start by replacing all the o-rings...where would you go about getting them as they dont seem to be the same ones that I have in my o-ring kit..thanks

You might be able to grab a couple O-Rings from your dealer or anyone that carries Jabsco pumps. Was the O-Ring or Impeller damaged at all? I would tighten all of the hose clamps and check for any hose leaks in the system. In the past this issue was caused by either a bad impeller, bad check valve or a hose that had come loose.

If you are only having issues with the one tank I would start by taking a look at that specific pump and work your way back to the manifold. The system as you are probably well aware of uses one intake with a check valve that distributes the water through a manifold to each of the individual pumps.

Good luck with finding the source. Hopefully it is something simple.
