Just got back a few hours ago. Wow, am I tired. Over 20 hours of driving the car and probably just as many driving boats. Look for more details if I ever get the article done!

Ryan, it was great to meet you.

Justin, that's the mighty Malibu Wakesetter VLX. It almost got crushed at Powell, but was saved at the last minute by a guy in his underwear. More details to follow.

Here are a couple of shots from a great week. The obligatory "cool boat shot" and "holding up Rainbow Bridge" pics, along with some mountain goats that came down for a drink about 200 feet from us. Many more to sort through!

nice feathers dave!!!

back home we call those deer but i guess things are different on the west coast

crracer 06-12-2007 3:50 PM

"A guy in his underwear" wow he must be a real manly man. I think he might of managed to save Mrs. Williams from drowning and being crushed in the ordeal as well.....all while not getting a drop on his skibby's ha ha

wakeworld 06-12-2007 5:38 PM

Alan, actually, they are Big Horn Sheep. I thought they were some kind of deer as well, but I've learned not to mess with my daughter in the area of animals. She called it correctly and showed me pics to prove it. Here's one...

http://www.theragens.com/photos/Vacations/Bighorn%20Sheep%202002-01.jpg

fuller313 06-12-2007 8:15 PM

Can't wait to hear all of the details from your lake powell adventure.

wakeworld 06-12-2007 8:19 PM

It was 1.25 miles each way and a three-year-old made it, so it was no problem.

oldmansteck 06-13-2007 11:56 AM

Yeah thats what it was about last year...Can't wait for Aug when I'll be there.

deuce 06-15-2007 9:08 AM

Come on Dave....where is the Brostock article/photos/explanation of about being run over by a guy in his underwear?

Anxiously waiting.......

fuller313 06-15-2007 5:05 PM

I agree. Lets hear the story Dave.
