OK, <BR>I searched with no luck. I am want to buy or fabricate a bracket that will allow my 485s to swivel outward 30 degrees or so when we tie up. Has anyone done this or seen this. If not I am going to work with a local fab shop and make this happen. Mox, <BR> <BR>Ben (8 tens) has done some braket mods for his 485s so they work on the centurion tower. You can probably do something like his with some sort of swivel capacity? <BR> <BR>You might also be able to get a second set of mounts from Tim and put them on one of the other bars? I replaced my "lug nuts" with button head allen bolts and use my screw gun to zip them on/off, it's pretty quick, could easily be done at the cove if you had a second set of mounts oriented to your liking.

Its gonna be hard to swivel with two separate clamp points. You need a lazy suzan thing. Need to go from the clamps to a rotating part then back to the mount holes on the 485s. Go to a machine shop. I have a machinist friend that can figure out anything odd like this. Everyone should know a machinist!

I was thinking the same thing Rich. My first thought is that having one mounting point for those speakers on a swivel will make them wobbly. However, the solution I would see for this would be two other attachment points on the 'lazy susan' that when the speakers on in their regular location there would be two locking points to help stabilize them. <BR> <BR>Great idea and I'm surprised we haven't seen it done yet.

If I can get solidworks up and running (being anal today) I have a similar thing, a little tweak it would work fine with those speakers I think. <BR> <BR>Hopefully it'll work sooner than later, I'll post it up

Just a note on this - I only have about 25 min to do this... so it isn't pretty but you'll get the idea <BR> <BR>Hopefully it is clear what is going on, but anyway.... the 485 will have a new little mounting piece and in the middle a verticle cylinder with two holes drilled, whatever angle, then an upper part that slides over with the same hole pattern, then just pop a pin out, rotate, pin back in. <BR> <BR>If I had more time/cared more about this I would have had it have a set of "teeth" on the top and bottom bracket with a little locking device so any angle is possible <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/694706.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/694707.jpg" alt="Upload">
