Stupid question...difference between USCGA and Australia CGA PFD3
 

What's the different between these besides the fact that most Australian approved PFD's for watersports only have 1 strap? Are the standards more or less interchangeable? I searched for the spec for Australia and came up with nothing besides generic descriptions. The only reason I ask is that most of the Australian PFD's look way better :) thanks!

Austrailian PFD's have a pouch in the front to hold your keys, sunglasses, cell phone, beer, etc. Just like a kangaroo has a pouch for its young.

Not sure on the exact differences, but i know that at McCormicks we do not accept Australian CGA's. Vests must be USCGA and have two buckles...
