What would you all recommend for a center fin on a 2007 CWB Marius 140 cm. I got a board without fins and would prefer to have them. Suggestions?

Personally I would ride with the Chrome Dome fins. I hear they are pretty sweet . I am pretty sure they will fit your board. It looks like each fin for your board requires one bolt, There should be holes for pins on the bottom of the board. How far are these pin holes from the bolt hole? I can then tell you if the CDI fins will fit your board.

Skiing made me board,
Lyle
www.cdifins.com

(Message edited by sunsport on October 08, 2007)

I can vouch for Lyle's product. I had a LF Trip138 that I had a hell of a time keeping the side fins on. I bought 4 CDI fins from Lyle and never worried about them again. They are spendy, but a quality product that I never had an issue with. I can't say the same for fins from the mfg.

Many people ride this board without the centre fins so there's probably someone out there who will sell you their original fins. Try putting an ad in the "wanted" section.

Thanks B Fitz, appreciate the positive feedback.

Jr I just put in an email to a guy I know at Slingshot so he can check for me. From what I can though they look like they will fit. If the holes are 1.5" apart at the centers, and 1/4" diameter then you are good to go. I'll let you know when he gets back to me. Do you like that board? I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Skiing made me board,
Lyle
Chrome Dome

I ride a Marius, and I ride it with the smaller CWB fins that come with the absolute. They are prefect. IMO The fins that come with the Marius are a lil to big and I don't like it finless. The lute fins are just right for my riding style they are short and long, and go good with this board. You have to remeber that the fins on a 06-07 Marius already sit on a v and mount on a rail that sits up a bit, So a 1" fin is almost like a 1.5" I think the fins it comes with are 1". I think the lute's are .5 or .7 and long. Good luck BG

(Message edited by bigpapaf1f on October 08, 2007)

I dont have any center fins, only the two small ones... wouldnt ever go back to center fins.
But different boards do ride different.
Friends are taking center ones off as well...

Use the edge of the board more to control, and a lot easier doing any surface stuff.

You have any pics of that bus?
You been riding much? where?
Dont think I have seen you. Late.

LYLE,

yea i like it so far...i'm still prolly not gonna get rid of my lf set up...but for sure its a different ride...can't wait to hit some rails on it..

The small Absolute fins are .8's they work great on the Marius.

Haha the bus, just thinking about that makes me laugh. It all started out as a joke, now it has turned into a complete motor home conversion, lift, upgraded turbo, the works. No pictures yet, but soon. I have been going to Roosevelt lately, going up the Sat. 20th eve and coming back Mon. eve. I have extra room or if you wanna meet up .

T-
I will see whats going on that weekend, definitely a possibility. See if the crew is busy or what. We have been going out to bartlett at least once a week. Holler if your headed that way, as well.
Are you running 3k in your mc? what engine? Just curious, Late.

nasty530 10-10-2007 10:04 AM

Close to 3k, probably about 2000-2400 in water and another 600-1000 in other ish. I need to reprop it as it wont plane out fully loaded. It is the LT1 corvette engine.
