Hello all I am pretty new here. I have wakeboarded a bit and can not do many tricks. But I am ordering the sickest x-80 you have ever seen. But I want to know what you guys think I should do to trick it more than it will be new. I know I am having all the glass tinted and I am going to have a killer tower speaker system. With some awesome tower lights.

But I want to have the boat that the normal guys will just drool over. I would like to do the stuff that most people don't because of money or what not.

I am thinking some leds under the swim platform. And maybe some cool lights in the interior.

any other thoughts?

snyper1d 05-22-2007 11:24 PM

Uh oh.........

unclesam 05-22-2007 11:33 PM

hahahaha, Make sure you order it with that custom barb wire graphic.

ponte_06_x2 05-22-2007 11:49 PM

dude. just get the boat and have fun with it. people here will hammer you because of the way you came off. yea order a cool boat. throw a system in it but dont act like its going to be the sickest boat in the world. chill out. its not the boat that people drool over its the life style. if your a dork with a dope boat, hey your still a dork.

05mobiuslsv 05-23-2007 12:07 AM

Show some pics or it over dude...

helinut 05-23-2007 12:49 AM

Must be sweet to have too much money to not know what to spend it on. Maybe a clue or two would help?

jsanders 05-23-2007 1:24 AM

What about a pink toilet seat cover for the oh so necessary crapper?

murphy8166 05-23-2007 6:17 AM

Are you kidding me...I think I just threw up in my mouth. I'd make sure they install the "Confidence" package...I hear its priceless and drvies the woman crazy.

JK...You make the boat...the boat doesn't make you

jixxxer 05-23-2007 6:25 AM

Your ordering an X-80 on a $75,000 salary? PRetty impressive, give me your secret.

jrhurst 05-23-2007 6:38 AM

live in the boat ;)

malibuboarder75 05-23-2007 6:43 AM

You have a family of 4. Why are you buying a boat that holds 20 people?

auto 05-23-2007 6:50 AM

I think we have Ryan X-Star's cousin or twin online

joshuag 05-23-2007 7:29 AM

"But i want the boat that normal guys drool over"

WOW. I got an idea. You should buy a boat that you like and can afford instead of buying a boat just to show off how much you are in debt. Come on man. Your 31 (according to your profile) but you sound like a teenager.

grant_west 05-23-2007 7:52 AM

Take it to Enriched. Tell them you want the "SSE" Super Signature Edition. There are some pic's of the "SE" Signature Edition in the thread attached.
http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/438379.html
You wanna go Big Pimpin. Bring your check book.

grant_west 05-23-2007 7:55 AM

BTW you wann make normal guys drool over your boat? Forget the stereo and leds. Fill your boat with Reef girls.

wow. what a warm welcome to wakeworld. If you want to be the big pimp, listen to Grant.

lionel 05-23-2007 8:20 AM

Yep, this guy must have short penis syndrome, otherwise he'd be thinking on the lines of Grant.....Either this is a joke or some of these idiots need to stop making us MC owners look bad........

wakedoctor 05-23-2007 8:49 AM

I believe with your post you would be happier with a Baja or Formula boat. By the way, your notions has already been attempted and succeeded so you can quit acting like you are the first person to ever think of doing such.

malibuboarder75 05-23-2007 9:05 AM

By looking at his myspace profile, I think that someone made up this guy's wakeworld account. I think this is a joke that someone is playing on us.

dkjbama92mariah 05-23-2007 9:11 AM

Sounds like an $80k ****pump to me.

drewdown 05-23-2007 9:16 AM

Ditto what Dirty D said. lol!

evil0ne 05-23-2007 9:25 AM

Dirty D obviously has no idea what an X-80 goes for. It's more like a $120K "****pump."

dreambig 05-23-2007 9:56 AM

You should prolly have Gaydar installed on your boat you know considering you want guys to drool over your boat.

Besides that congrats on your purchase

tsbs 05-23-2007 10:05 AM

It's a boat with a $hi%-er... c'mon. That's cool already. Just get one of those towable covers and call it home. The payment over 30 years would be way cheaper than rent and just think how cool the girls would think you are living in your boat. LOL!!!

If you have cool parents you could probably park it right in front of their house and use their kitchen when your entertaining.

guido 05-23-2007 10:06 AM

"normal guys will just drool over" LOL!!!

Define "normal guys".

jaubrey 05-23-2007 10:09 AM

Wait a minute....I thought someone was just trying to pull a prank...or atleast hoping.

hatepain 05-23-2007 10:13 AM

I'm with Leo, the instant I read his myspace I figured someone was punkin this guy. It just doesn't seem to coincide with his projected attitude from that page. Christians try to live a life of humility whether they have very nice things or not.

macrogpx2 05-23-2007 10:34 AM

You should dfeinately get the p**** magnet like Borat got in the H2. Very Nice!

helinut 05-23-2007 10:42 AM

I'm sure it's a prank. There is another thread on here of him wanting a nice new Duramax lifted and such. No way he can afford both with an income of 75 to 100K. Or he likes being in debt like me!

Shawn

etakk7 05-23-2007 10:53 AM

i think it is a prank too. does anybody know a youth pastor who makes 75 to 100k by the way?

kevin_bird 05-23-2007 11:11 AM

Dont know if its a prank or not but there is no reason to question where his money is from. It couold have come from numerous places. He could have inherited it or won it, maybe a CD or some trust fund. That is really besides the point. (now im the hyprocrite lol) It just occured to me it could be for his youth group and that is why he would want to seat 20 people.

Anyways. The X-80 is a high end boat and there are a lot of little things you can do to upgrade it. I would start with the stereo, normally those guys will know what you should and shouldnt do. Good Luck I'd be pumped to see some sick X-80's rolling around.

Ryan @ Chucktronics does the best work around here IMO. He is located in Lodi.

kmcginty 05-23-2007 11:42 AM

In the case that he is serious, my recomendation for pimpin for the sake of pimpin would be TV's Go ahead and scoff, thats what everyone did when they first went into cars and now look. There was a small trend of putting tvs in the steering wheel but that ruined the air bag- this would be cool in a boat. (I believe the tv was in a gyroscope so it was always horizontal, even when turning).

But never forget, there is no substite for having plenty o' BUN on the boat.

mjmurphy53711 05-23-2007 11:45 AM

WOW, wakeworld is going off today.

DUCKBOY: Name calling and cussing at the guy is not necassary, especially coming from the guy that likes to knock other peoples rides himself by calling them "mexicrafts".

I personally think it is about time Dave gives you a warning.

macrogpx2 05-23-2007 11:53 AM

I don't think a super ridicuolus stereo is necessary for envy, the X-80 is one bad mother by itself. Do what makes you happy, if you run around trying to please everyone else than you have lost sight of why people own boats, to go out and have quality fun with friends and family. But more power to yuo if you got the cash.

woreout 05-23-2007 12:12 PM

I would put a dishwasher and disco ball in it, and wear Mickey Mouse ears when driving it along with a rainbow stripe pair of tube socks and matching TBack.
and streamers coming off the handlebars.

denwbaseball 05-23-2007 12:14 PM

and a fannypack!

duckguy 05-23-2007 12:38 PM

Personally I dont give a crap what you think Mike.

mjmurphy53711 05-23-2007 12:41 PM

That much obvious, but I think you can find better things to do online than call people a "fuqin tool" and knock on peoples boats left and right that dont meet up to your standards.

Occasionally you have something of value to say, but this forum is not for childish name calling and insulting other peoples proud possessions that they work hard for.

I and others will keep calling you out for it, so just refrain.

duckguy 05-23-2007 1:06 PM

For your info I knocked on a boat once-when it was asked for opinions. And you would think I dont have the time but really I do, just as you appear to.

rson 05-23-2007 1:11 PM

Wooooooo Wooooooooo

3domfighter 05-23-2007 2:51 PM

Forget the lights, the speakers, the TVs and whatever else...if you want guys to drool when they see your boat, you just need to fill the empty seats with hotties (like my wife). And if you take me with you I can offer to drop some extra ballast in that crapper for a wake that is literally "the shiznit".

wake4fun 05-23-2007 3:47 PM

X 80 doesn't seat 20... only 15. He would be better off with an X 45, it seats 18.

nubb 05-23-2007 7:34 PM

You guys are bagging on him because he only makes 75,000 a year. Your are overlooking the obvious, maybe his wife is a stripper and they have dual income.

jixxxer 05-24-2007 6:22 AM

Hey thats more than I make but thats why I have a bayliner

woreout 05-24-2007 7:08 AM

Christy, X80 has no seating capacity its Yacht certified so its up to the captain to decide what it is. Even though 15 is listed in the brochure. The X45 is 18 people.

(Message edited by woreout on May 24, 2007)

Is the X-80 that twin engine master craft dealio? My neighbor in the keys just bought one of those things. F'n HUGE wakeboard boat!!

RD

helinut 05-24-2007 12:12 PM

Yeah it's the 28 foot twin engine monster. Unbelievable in size and I've never seen one in person.

riverdave 05-24-2007 12:23 PM

There's two of them in Parker now. My neighbor just bought one, and there's a second one running around. Pretty cool boat indeed.

There is one for sale somewhere that some one put superchargers on.. LOL About the coolest thing I've ever seen, twin engine wake board boat with blower motors. ;)

I'll see if I can find the link, someone posted it on hotboat recently.

RD

riverdave 05-24-2007 12:32 PM

Here you go Jeremiah, for the guy that has 2 much money. An X - 80 with twin Blower Motors..

Cool from a hotboaters perspective (well I thought it was cool anyways) and a wakeboarders perspective! 05-24-2007 12:37 PM

Now THAT is cool! Why not just do quads if you're gonna go off the hook?

timmyb 05-24-2007 12:41 PM

Still doesn't go over 60mph though, so what's the point of all that HP?

05-24-2007 12:43 PM

Because you can, of course.

kingskrew 05-24-2007 12:46 PM

/hijack

Timmy, thats an awesome looking RZ2 in your profile. How are you liking it?

/end hijack

-Steve

P.S. You really think it only does 60? I find that hard to believe.

(Message edited by KingsKrew on May 24, 2007)

psudy 05-24-2007 12:57 PM

Still doesn't go over 60mph though, so what's the point of all that HP?

The guy that owned it said it would get up to 70 I think. Still not that fast for all that work.

timmyb 05-24-2007 1:01 PM

Whoops, I meant to type 70...sorry! I remembered the other thread saying that it only went 70.

The RZ2 is bad azz so far, I've only had it out twice and ridden behind it once! Does it throw the sickest wake known to man? No. It gets it done for what I need and it rides so awesome in rough water!

dabell 05-24-2007 1:03 PM

There is another thread on WW that the owner got onto this site. I guess some of the people on here were asking questions and he was answering them. Cool boat, but way out of my price range.

dabell 05-24-2007 1:05 PM

Hijack:

Timmy! your RZ2 suck arse. Mine boat is better. he he he

End Hijack.

wake1823 05-24-2007 1:07 PM

steve , I think the top speed is limited by the hull design.

riverdave 05-24-2007 1:10 PM

Hull design, and they'd have to change the angle of the prop shafts quite a bit to get any real speed out of it. If he spent some more cash, and took it over to somewhere like Prime Marine I'd bet they could make that pig run 80 - 85 with that much HP pretty easily.

RD

timmyb 05-24-2007 1:12 PM

Yeah David B., you're right - it sucks compared to your boat...a 24Ve is what I started out looking at and went with this shady new design...

kingskrew 05-24-2007 1:16 PM

Oh I totally agree that it'll never be a 100mph boat, it's not designed to be. But I've seen stock wb boats that do about 50mph, 60 just seemed way too low. 70 sounds about right, and I agree you could probably push it to 80 with a couple changes. It doesnt help that it has 4 batteries, a big heavy tower, $8K worth of stereo and a friggin crapper. "Pig" is right!

-Steve

lionel 05-24-2007 2:55 PM

My favorite part of that boat is the rock guard mud flaps on the trailer, where can I get those?
