OMG Dave, I think you read my mind! Two days ago I went boarding and froze my nuts off. And today, even though I didn't get to ride (Driver got stuck at work) it was finally warm. As I sat on the pier cafe drinking a beer, over looking the water, 68 degrees, and I was sweating my ass off, and I couldn't help thinking the same thing, I was finally excited, SPRING IS HERE! You can smell it in the air. Though the shorty will be staying on for a bit longer (50 degree water, bbbbrrr) I'm just happy it eventually came, its been a long long winter. And now reading your article, it just made it so much more pure and authorized. Thanks!
http://www.wakeworld.com/articles/2004/spring.asp
well, i'm still gutted, it snowed in england last wednesday, so its still the full steamer, gloves and inner boots, cause it ain't gettin warmer here for a while

kristian 03-15-2004 5:49 AM

But look at the boat you get to ride behind, its not all bad.

harryhog 03-15-2004 6:13 AM

when d'u find out about that mate?
kristian 03-15-2004 8:24 AM

You posted it somewhere, I think. Or I'm telepathic? who knows.

harryhog 03-15-2004 8:39 AM

ah, fair enough, think i may have posted it you're right. Its not got any ballast in at the moment cause they're just getting used to having it, hopefully they will soon tho, cause its a really nice shape, but still really small, we expected it (tige, switchV) to have a huge wake even without ballast, cause thats' what their website seems to claim, nevermind tho.

I went riding last week, outside temp was 82, not sure what the water was excatly, but it was nice! want to go ride again!

kristian 03-15-2004 9:59 AM

Harry, as soon as you put some ballast in there, you'll see how great that wake can be.

Well, I just dropped $400 on a drysuit, some sacks, and a vest. Now I just need the foot of ice on my lake to melt so I can get the boat in the lake. I've got spring break next week, but being only 36 degrees outside, its not lookin promising. I would go break through the ice, but I don't think my hull can handle it.

harryhog 03-15-2004 11:58 AM

kristian, i'm looking forward to it, if you're ever back in england u should pop up show us some moves, pretend to be a loughborough student, ha ha
