I've been wanting to buy a wakeskate but I have no idea what the sport is like. Is skating is anything like an being on an indo board? I can do ollie's, 360s, shuv its, 360 shuv its on the indo and want to get into wakeskating. Would it be an easy transfer or are the 2 completely different from each other

cason, crossover activities help with any boardsport. However, there's always a period of adjustment because they aren't exactly the same. for example, wakeskates are twice as wide as skateboards, and a fair bit longer as well. Add in the fact that ollies are not exactly the same and you have your "adjustment" I was referring to. But with practice and patience comes success. Wakeskating's a riot, I highly recommend it.

I should say, I don't know anything about indo boarding becuase I don't do that. But I'm sure the balance oriented activities will help. My friends like to indo board in preparation for wakeskating...I'd rather skateboard.
