Slingshots Top Boat Riding Board?

Hey guys, looking for a new board for the 2012 season.

I have been riding a 2010 Watson 139 Hybrid/ Watson Boots. I always felt with this board behind the boat that it was very suctioned to the water. I always felt like it was hit or miss to get some really good pop with it. I am by no means an advanced rider. Just some spins and trying some inverts.

My buddy I ride with alot runs a 2010 Slingshot Reflex 141 & Slingshot Boots. I have tried this board out several times and it feels effortless to get boosted. I really like how this board rides & feels

I was planning on getting a 2012 Reflex but I am open to open to opinions if any of you think the other slingshot boards are more boat specific.

My hybrid is almost completely destroyed but still ridable ( I have a system 2.0 a few minutres from my house) so I plan to use my new board for Boat only so I don't destroy this one as well.

also open to other board brands just hard because I live in area with no boardshops to demo boards.

Thanks!

Check out the Hooke and the new Lyman.

I have a 2010 Relex and recently got a 2011 Recoil. The Recoil feels very locked onto the water compared to the Reflex. The Reflex does feel loose on the surface.

I came off the Hybrid 2 years ago to get on SS.... I rode the Recoil at first and liked it but I got a Kine last year for the boat and it blew my mind.... Ballistics series is where its at for boat pop. Reflex/Response for rails... that being said... a bunch of dudes kill it behind the boat on the Response.

If I was just riding boat I'd get the Kine... hybrid rocker gets you the best of both worlds

If I'm mixing boat and cable your choice of Reflex is prolly good

I have a Hooke, and everyone (beginner-advanced) that has ridden it has loved it. It's a little slow, but other than that it's a great board.
