Hey all, <BR>I've been shooting wake sessions up here in Minnesota for a few short months. I'm really enjoying it but I wanted to get the opinions of some more riders about what you all look for when you get your own pictures back. <BR> <BR>I'm gonna post a few from some recent sessions and tell me which type of shots you would want to see the most of...both on a website and if they were shots of your riding given to you. <BR> <BR>Up close, showing rider emotion and focus: <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254776.jpg" alt="close1"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254777.jpg" alt="close2"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254778.jpg" alt="close3"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254779.jpg" alt="close4"> <BR> <BR>Closer...but still seeing some of the backdrop: <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254780.jpg" alt="mid1"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254781.jpg" alt="mid2"> <BR> <BR>Way far out giving a sense of scale <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254782.jpg" alt=""> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254783.jpg" alt=""> <BR> <BR>From the backside <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254784.jpg" alt=""> <BR> <BR>Desktop Wallpaper style <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254785.jpg" alt=""> <BR> <BR>The final one are my shots that Root did a really sweet job of photomerging: <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/254786.jpg" alt=""> <BR> <BR>If I'm missing your favorite type of shot, please let me know and I'll try getting some! <BR> <BR>-

I personally like shots from a chase boat. SOmebody posted a sequence shot merged together from the shore that was insane.

Sequence shots top my list, but for a normal shot... I'd have to say the backside, and way far out look better. <BR> <BR>-Blake

Ever take any from a tube? A fish eye view is pretty gnarly.

If You really want to get good shots you need to get out of the tow boat and shoot from a chase boat, Tube or shore etc. <BR> <BR>It really makes all the difference in the world. <BR> <BR>I noticed that the horizon isn't level in many of the shots (I'm guilty of that too) and that is a big distraction. <BR> <BR>That's my two cents.
