That's an '87 Sunsetter. Both will be wood floors, stringers, etc, etc. Check the stringers on both at the motor mounts. And those have to be the 2 most hideous towers I've ever seen.

I love the look of the old Malibu's. I've never rode one but would love to some day.

Both boats are great and the fact that they are still around and that people have continued to use them and update their interiors are a true testament to each boat. Just make sure that with either boat, you get a good look at the structural make up of the boat. There's nothing wrong with wood substructure as long as it's been taken care of.

Go with either of them, you won't be sorry.

I've actually owned both and just from being around each one i would say thsat the malibu is a better built boat. I got an 89 with rebuilt engine new interior and floor plus stereo for about the same price. I think each one is pretty good. you could probably get another 500 to 1000 off each one. Also the supreme comes with 2 captain chairs in the front unless it has been modified. The supreme's platform isn't made to come off, the malibu's is. and the malibu is only 20' long without the platform not 22'.
One thing that is nice about the supreme is how deep it is compared to the malibu. I would test drive both and see what you think.
