Water temps... How cold do you ride?

With a little cold snap here on the east coast I've come to the realization that the season is slowly coming to an end. Water about 62* and air around 70* this weekend. How cold water temps do you guys ride in before you call it quits?

The past couple years I've rode through mid-late October when water temps here get to be around 50*, give or take a few degrees. That has been trunking it too, but I started this season with a 4/3 full suit and was very comfortable in cold water so hoping to push it a bit longer this year. So how cold before you guys call it quits? Anyone push to 40*? Some crews breaking ice at the ramp? Or does everyone here live somewhere water doesn't freeze?

We usually call it quits at 60*.My wife and i just don't enjoy the colder weather and it's not a competition to us.We ride for fun.

68 and I'm done. I might ride colder but my crew (my kids) are spoiled.

In NE and IA we get the boat out when the ice is clear and put her away when it starts threatening to freeze the engine. Water temp wise, its generally in the mid 40's to 50's when that happens. Its definitely harder to get a crew together in those conditions though! Don't ride too much those days

First set of the year for me was water 45, air 47. Snow still on the ground!

Cold rider here too. As long is it's not frozen, we will try and ride. We ride into the low 40's every fall.

In Arizona, its year round riding under the valley of the sun! I've never seen the water(in my life of riding time) get below 44 degrees. Usually during the harsh times it gets to 49 but the air is up in the mid 50s.
And a pic from 01/27/2011 on a Saturday afternoon. Looks like a chair lift should be running up into the clouds on that mountains in the background!

DFTR takes the cake. Wow, that is legit.

Usually we'd cut it at october with school and college starting by then but considering europeans and african's are on in February we'll keep going til then unless the lake freezes over. Rode once last March and it was 0 air and 6 water

I got a drysuit last season and the coldest I went in was 56. Once the water gets in the low 50s I call it quits. It stops being fun when you are freezing the whole time.

Insane! I have to ask though, are there enough nutjobs out there that they normally plow the boat ramp or did you plow it?
