SE Orlando and St. Cloud boat riders - anyone out there?
Not sure if there is anyone out here anymore. I have a boat with ballast and perfect pass, but I would love to meet some other wakeboarders and share rides. I can bring gas and/or beverages if going on your boat. I occasionally like to ride cable, but I like boat better with an occasional surf/skate. I'm desperate because my wife is getting sick of pulling me haha. Still looking to improve my riding, but its tough when I'm lucky to get out once a week (even though I live on a lake!).

Thanks, I've definitely thought about going there. I might have to, but my friend who drives there says it's surprisingly a lot of beginners who don't know how to get up. My lake is a much nicer set up than the pond next to busy 528, so given the choice I'd choose to ride the lake if there are others in the area.

I'm hoping to just find some riding friends in the area that like to ride more than just cable or a paid boat set at one of the camps. I would like to be able to spend some more time out on the lake. With the heat and my wife being pregnant, when we go out I fill the ballast, ride, and then have to drain. Would love to take a surf, skate, or 2nd set afterwards, but she's done.

I just moved into the area, well kind of. Over here in Melbourne. I ran Oregon School of Wakeboarding for 4 years, worked at Malibu for 5 years, now here. We’ve been taking my boat out on Lake Washington. You are welcome to join us if you are up for the drive.
