Who owns the new Supra SA?

I bought a new Supra SA with the added 2200 lbs of ballast and I wanted to see if anyone has purchased the SA with the same setup to see what settings you found were the best for wakesurfing. I know its a new boat and that its been pretty cold across the country so their may not be many people who have really tweaked their settings. I'm trying to get the best wake I can for surfing.

Any help much appreciated.

I have used the SA extensively as a demo at our dealership. What setup are you running right now for surfing? 100% port, 100% front, for example

Thought you bought an MXZ JR

We surf regular foot and are surfing on the left rear when facing the back of the boat. Wake plate is 100% with 100% on the left ballast and 100% on the center and right ballast 0% speed set to 10 mph.

Thanks for the replies.

Loved the MXZ but when I drove and boarded behind this boat it was awesome! 3000 lbs in ballast and More storage than the MXZ and just loved the SA more especially with the 450. Will post pictures when I pick her up Friday.

I've got the 550. 100% left 100% front and plate at 70%. With like 7 ppl lining the side. Good surf that way. That's the 2200lb set up.

What speed are you surfing at those numbers?

That's at 11 mph. That's what we have found best so far.

We have found to b true that u need 12ft of water to make it right. Tried in shallower water and it would not work!

We purchased an SA 450 Worlds package boat but won't be picking it up until next week as they still have to install the heater and rear transom remote. I was out in the boat and it has the 750's in the back. We filled just the back left, the wake is very nice. I would estimate about waiste high. I spoke to Dan Miller at Supra yeasteday and he said that is what they are hearing also. Ballast in which ever side your surfing and none in the front. He also said try turning away from the side your surfing on and the wave stays as high. We also tried out and MXZ with the 450HP, 750 ballast in each corner and surf gate. We found the SA to have a bigger, nicer and cleaner wake. I was blown away at how the SA drives and the power out of the hole. I also think for a boat in this price range they have TOP OF THE LINE fit and finish. I know it's not a G23 or an XStar but man is this a nice boat. I was much more impressed all around with the SA compared to the Malibu. It takes about 8 minutes to empty one side and fill the other with 750 bags. I think Supra will also have a surf type system in the near future, let's just hope it will be able to be added to the boats that don't have it unlike the Surf Gate system.
