My tow vehicle bit the dust this past week. I was hoping to get one more year out of it because next year I plan to upgrade it significantly. <BR> <BR>I am considing picking up something real cheap just to get me through the summer. Like $3000 cheap. Anyone have any suggestions? Will this just be more trouble?

BTW, I would use it to tow a '05 VLX and typically do not tow it more than ten miles each use.

I just sold my 97 f150 for 3800, it towed fine,65mph A/C crankin,cruise on, 160K miles <BR> <BR>if you tow in alot of hilly areas though the 4.6 is crappy, get the bigger v8, there are a ton out there, great trucks, look for one with a tow pckg from the factory they have better gearing

I have a 95 F-250 I used to pull a 5th wheel at work. Looking to put it on craigslist for 3000. I live in Bakersfield about 2-1/2 hours away. Good truck 110k miles on it.
